Quackmenship

Quacksmenship
Alfred was a little duck who had a terrible terrible problem. He would be a total smack talker when it came to sports. He was the cockiest duck in the world. He was so arrogant and cocky that other ducks and animals never really liked him. He would run his beak saying he would crush the opposing team and would leave victorious. The problem was that he really wasn't that good in any sport. He would never practice to get better; he didn't really love to play sports. What he loved was showing off and try to get everyone's attention. Football game 1: he got crushed. Basketball game 2: not even close. It went on and on with him losing and running his beak. He never won!! He never learned!! Then one day a rat named Izzy sat him down and showed him his Alfred's own demons. Alfred saw how much of an animal he was. Baseball game 9: The opposing team of lions were on the field waiting for Izzy and his team of ducks to face them, but where were they. Minutes passed and they wouldn't show up. Right when they were about to leave, they appeared. What the lions didn't know was for the past week, Alfred his team were practicing non stop and not showboating. Game 9 turned to be a game for the books, the ducks tremendously won by god knows how much. The lions were devastated and worried to hear the horrors that they were waiting to come out of Alfred's beak. They were shocked, what they got were beak shakes and a nice compliments from Alfred and his fellow team mates. Izzy helped teach Alfred a valuable lesson: Don't be a pain in the duck: practice, have fun, and show good Quacksmenship.

"Painting" to Music

"Painting" to Music
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For this years Carpe Diem activity...i have decided to "paint" to music. Technically i used pastels and this is a project i am doing for Advance Art the past week or so. So i have been working on it in class, but my art teacher allows us to listen to music while we work on our art. For this project i decided to do a portrait of Walter White from Breaking Bad. In this picture, it shows the 2 sides of him which is Walter White and Heisenberg (which is his alter ego).  The music that I've been listening to was bands like Dance Gavin Dance, Van Halen, Norma Jean, The Listener, The Chariot, and many other that i can't remember right now. It was cool because when i was doing the Heisenberg side, i would listen to harder types of music that would get me into the evil mood which helped me feel like him. Then when it came to the Walter White side, i listened to soft or beautiful types of music.I really enjoyed working with the music in the background because it would get me in the zone when i was doing this piece, I am still working on it and it will provably take be a couple of more days. One thing that's for sure is that i will continue enjoying the art and music.

List of Top 10 Favorite Words

List of Top 10 Favorite Words
I know it might seem dull to write a post about your favorite words, but it isn't as easy as you think. Truly thinking about your favorite words is tough to the point that we just settle for any words that can come up in our heads.
  •  For Sure one of my most favorite words has to be Taco. Taco is not just a word or food, but a life style that you live by.
  • Music is such a diverse word because it comes in so many forms, but the one thing that makes this word unique is that it's universal to anyone or thing.

  • Pencil to me is the tool to millions of creations whether it comes to writings or a work of art.
  • In a world of many disagreements, the word OPEN assists many to see in the eyes of others.
  • I like the word Artist because there are a vast amount of different types of artists. Each one has their own unique style that differs them from others and they strive to fully express their selves.
  • Friends, Could you imagine a life without any? They are there for you through better or for worse.
  • Rogue.....I don't mean by the term of a man who is dishonest. When i think of Rogue, i think of the X-Men character Rogue. A woman who is treated differently for being abnormal, running into people who try to take advantage of her, she was lost in the world and was just looking for someone she can love. That's when she is brought in open arms to the X-Men where she is accepted for who she is.
  • Team...There's no i in team.
  • Liger.....Lion and Tiger mixed together!
  • A band to me is a group of family where you can fully express yourself while having fun.

"G" Rated Night

"G" Rated Night

What's a better way to kick off the  weekend than spending it with great friends. Of coarse we spent the day watching the playoff games, Boys N Da Hood, and the timeless classic known as Toy Story! It was a thrill to dive in to this iconic film that's been a favorite to all of us at one point in out lives. My childhood heroes formerly  known as Buzz and Woody brought nostalgia throughout the movie not just to one, but all of us viewing it. While viewing the film, we would just burst out quotes from the film and would make remarks such as "Do you remember..." or "I never realized or noticed that..." All i have to say is that an experience such as reliving childhood favorites can't fully be summarized in writing, but in conversation with others who feel the same way and feel as admired by the film as you are..........

.p.s. my favorite scene is were Woody couldn't find his hat, only to find that his hat is being worn by his comedic shark friend.
