"Painting" to Music
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------For this years Carpe Diem activity...i have decided to "paint" to music. Technically i used pastels and this is a project i am doing for Advance Art the past week or so. So i have been working on it in class, but my art teacher allows us to listen to music while we work on our art. For this project i decided to do a portrait of Walter White from Breaking Bad. In this picture, it shows the 2 sides of him which is Walter White and Heisenberg (which is his alter ego). The music that I've been listening to was bands like Dance Gavin Dance, Van Halen, Norma Jean, The Listener, The Chariot, and many other that i can't remember right now. It was cool because when i was doing the Heisenberg side, i would listen to harder types of music that would get me into the evil mood which helped me feel like him. Then when it came to the Walter White side, i listened to soft or beautiful types of music.I really enjoyed working with the music in the background because it would get me in the zone when i was doing this piece, I am still working on it and it will provably take be a couple of more days. One thing that's for sure is that i will continue enjoying the art and music.
